Current Positions

Title:  DevOps Engineer

Location:  Ammon, Idaho (Idaho Falls Area) / Remote

Summary:  We are looking for an outstanding DevOps engineer to lead in the creation and implementation of company wide development, testing, and deployment standards and practices.   These tasks will include defining, refining, building, and implementing a comprehensive CI/CD process.

This is a remote position (but will require some on-site work to get started) that allows for the freedom to work and roam as much as you need or want.  
 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Create and facility implementation of company wide DevOps strategy

  • Facilitate the implementation of company DevOps strategy

  • Guide teams in designing, building, testing and deploying changes in software

  • Enhance the company’s IT infrastructure security protocols

  • Identify manual processes that can be automated

  • Developing good working relationships with other employees and groups within the company

  • Help define coding standards to facilitate CI/CD processes

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Security: While continually updating code to make the system run faster and better, the DevOps Engineer also must make sure that the changes to improve the system don’t unnecessarily introduce increased vulnerability to attack.

  • Flexibility: The DevOps Engineer will help build processes that allow for the update of sections of software, as well as simultaneously managing changes to other parts of the program. 

  • Collaboration:  work with Dev team members

  • Soft Skills: A DevOps Engineer should possess interpersonal, management and decision-making skills.

  • Systems Orchestration: This position will require the ability to orchestrate the deployment, integration, and automation of hardware (switches, routers, and servers) and software (applications, vms, containers, services).  API’s and other integration tools will be leveraged to meet system and project requirements.

  • Expertise in:

    • Ansible automation processes

    • GitLab CI/CD

    • Scripting such as PHP, Perl and Python

    • ProxMox / Virtualization / SAN technology

    • Networking - IPv4 and IPv6

Title:  Scrum Lead

Location:  Ammon, Idaho (Idaho Falls Area) / Remote

Summary:  We are looking for an outstanding scrum lead to participate in the creation, implementation and lead of agile / scrum practices and standards.  

This is a remote position that allows for the freedom to work and roam as much as you need or want.  
 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices

  • Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction

  • Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization

  • Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments

  • Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework

  • Resolve conflicts and issues that occur

  • Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity

  • Support the product owner and provide education where needed

  • Run Scrum standup meetings

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • 3+ years experience as a scrum lead and with successful Agile techniques

  • Experience with Jira software

  • Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict

  • Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum

  • Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not

  • Ability to work with and lead a team

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills

  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment

  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
